Hello People,

We would like to raise £200 to £500 pounds to help syrian famlies with emergency packages through out the winter.

We will be walking 5 miles for this cause on the 26th of November at Olympic park.

Approximately 6 million Syrians are without homes due to bombings from Syria's civil war. With more than 100,000 dead, and one million children traumatized or orphaned…Syrian refugees need our help right now.

As refugees spill out from Syria into the surrounding countries of Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan, they are met with dwindling resources as these countries do not have provisions to meet refugees' needs. Many families are living in flimsy tents made from discarded plastic sheets or they are trying to rent from limited housing options with little resources.

Food for the Hungry is responding by partnering with other organizations to provide food, hygiene kits, rent support, mattresses, blankets, trauma support and safe places for kids to play and learn.
