I've raised £500 to Raising vital funds to sustain the Youth Homelessness project; SafeSpace.

Positive Action in the Community (PAC) through the SafeSpace projects work hard to support young people in Pendle, Burnley and Rossendale who are homeless or facing these circumstances. They provide early intervention support as well as short and medium stay housing and support at high quality, purpose-built accommodation for young people between the ages of 16 and 21.
Homeless people across Lancashire can face some of the harshest and most unsafe sleeping conditions you are likely to ever experience, whether that be on the street or sofa surfing.
The SafeSpace projects receive over 350 referrals each and every year – Youth Homelessness is happening right now, in our local area and YOU can help us raise vital funds that will help sustain our accommodation and support facilities for these young vulnerable people.
Homelessness can happen to anyone, regardless of class, race or circumstance, and life situations can change very quickly; it can happen to someone you know or someone you care about.
What are we trying to achieve and why?
Survival on the Summit is a charitable event aiming to raise vital funds to sustain our Youth Homelessness project; SafeSpace. This is a challenge to give an insight and experience of personal struggles with having no place to call home. We wanted to do something that has NEVER been accomplished before; a mass sleepout on the top of Pendle Hill. That’s right, 12 hours on the top of our areas most famous landmark!
