Story
My amazing friend Debbie has completed a 10k Colourthon - circular route from Chalkwell Park and along the Seafront on Sat 7th July, in support of my ongoing post surgical needs. Debbie has battled serious health problems herself and this 10k walk in 30 degrees heat is a huge achievement! For those who don't know, I had major brain and spinal surgery last Nov in Barcelona (the only place in Europe able to perform this surgery) for complications of my genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It has been a rough ride but I am doing well, the surgery has been a huge success. My journey isn't over yet.. I am currently needing to fund important CT scans which will cost £1,304 to check the hardware put in my skull and neck and to help decide when the bone grafts I need put in will need to take place. I am so grateful for all the generosity shown, enabling me to have this surgery and quality of life when I wasn't expected to live past the end of last year without surgery. I still need your support, please support Debbie's efforts - thank you Debbie for doing this for me and for everyone's continued support!
