Story

Roughly 4 in 100 people in the UK struggle with self-harm, I want to help change this.

I'm a survivor of both self-harm and a suicide attempt. Self-harming used to feel like a release of all of my stress, all of my anger, all of my anxiety, all of the bad feelings that I bottled up so much they made it impossible to cope. I used to hurt myself almost everyday, it got that bad that I ended up in hospital on multiple occasions. I didn't know where to turn for help or support but then I discovered and got referred to C.A.M.H.S (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) as well as The Well-being Service. They helped me learn how to cope with how I was feeling and since being discharged from them almost two years ago, I've only re-lapsed once. I started this blog because I want help others to do the same. To help fight and overcome depression, anxiety and self-harm and suicide.

By writing this blog I hope I can help make the lives of people who self-harm better and maybe even inspire others to do the same.

All money raised will go directly into an account to pay for advertising to raise awareness of the blog.
