Domestic, Drug & Sexual Abuse - Please Help Me get Justice

Hello, I don’t know where to start but I need your help. I am a single mother of two beautiful children. I recently fled my home which I shared with my ex-partner due to serious domestic, drug and sexual abuse. I nearly lost my life because of him and it breaks my heart every time I look at my two precious children and think of how I might have missed out on seeing them grow up. I hold them close everyday and treasure all the little moments, their smell, their smile, their laugh, their everything. They are my world and I will never let anyone try and take me from them again.

I finally fled the family home and found the strength to report my ex-partner to the police which has caused much upheaval to my children resulting in us living in a refuge and changing schools several times. The police are currently investigating this matter but my ex-partner has made several false allegations against me and has even gone to the extent of paying witnesses to lie for him and give him an alibi. He has also made threats against me and my own family to try and intimidate me and prevent me from taking action but I will fight on, I will not let him control me anymore.

Unfortunately I am not able to reveal my true identity nor I am not able to detail the full extent of the abuse as this might prejudice the criminal investigation but once this horrific ordeal is over I intend to write a blog and detail my experience and the problems I faced and obstacles that I had to overcome so I can help others in my situation and give them support and guidance where I struggled to find the help I needed.

I have recently applied through the courts for fact finding so I can protect my children and make sure they are safe particularly now it has come to light that he was sexual grooming a young girl. I have been advised that this will cost up to £6000 which is money that I don’t have. I have funded the majority of the costs associated with the civil cases myself with help from my family but will not be able to afford this. I am therefore asking for your help. I have never relied upon anyone for financial support prior to this and have worked all my life and have paid into the system. Unfortunately, my life has unfolded in a way I never thought possible and I never believed this could happen to me.

I am therefore asking for your help so I can get justice and speak out and prevent this from happening to other people. I thank you all for your support and appreciate any contribution however small.
