KIND - Kids in Need - is a small charity based in Liverpool doing great work with disadvantaged children on Merseyside. Every year KIND runs a week long residential activities holiday in Wales for children who would normally never have such an experience. We (Jill Watson and I) want to raise money to send as many children as possible from our region on the next KIND summer residential AND to show how serious we are, we have taken on the massive challenge of running the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on 24 May 2020. In addition, we would like to raise funds to help equip and run a children's nursery school in one of the poorest areas of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where I have spent a great deal of time. We are passionate about children and young people and want to make a difference and with your help WE CAN.
