Pentland Firth Swim

In memory of Ena Brown

Ena has been such a loved and dear friend to so many people as well as a midwife who excelled at her job. Her kind and caring nature will be remembered by so many people.

A year ago 'Scatch' and William discussed swimming the Pentland Firth and now they felt it was the right time to do it in memory of Ena. With the support of Hamish Mowat they will undertake this swim on the 24th July. If tides etc don't allow the swim to happen, they will try again!!

Scratch & William will undertake a first attempt at a sponsored swim form Orkney to mainland Scotland on 24th July 2018.

All proceeds will be dontated in memory of Ena to the Kirkwall maternity ward where she worked for many years as a dedicated midwife, valued by staff and patients.

Any donations will be so gratefully recieved by the Maternity Staff.

The Maternity ward will put any money recieved towards purchasing reclining seats. These will enhance the comfort for men and people that are staying in the ward with their partners.
