Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Very recently, my husband Grant was diagnosed with terminal mucunous ademocarcinoma of the colon with Peritoneal and lung Metastasis. This is a difficult cancer to treat and has an upwards of 80% chance of returning even if treated, so longterm treatment is not sustainable.
Grant is due to have a picc line fitted within the next week or so and then begin 6 weeks of gruelling chemotherapy to try and shrink this down.
As you can imagine we are absolutely devastated by this. He is only 39. Never did we expect anything like this to happen so have nothing in place to help us financially. Our daughter Autumn has has a hard run at life already. She was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at 18 months old and more recently Epilepsy which we manage together continually. Grant would like to try raise some funds not only to make memories but to maybe ease the pressure financially when it comes to thinking of the future for Autumn. We have very little financial security or support as don‘t have family living close by, so this is worrying Grant greatly so any help big or small is appreciated during this harrowing time
Everyone who knows Grant adores his charismatic, sarcastic character, he is always upbeat and so dedicated to his family. We are truly heartbroken.
