I'm raising £5,000 for a beloved alpaca, known to many visitors from the alpaca walks. This gentle creature has brought joy to numerous weddings and care homes, always spreading happiness wherever he goes.

Recently, he had an unfortunate accident while playing with a friend. In a moment of excitement, he slipped and suffered a nasty open fracture. He received immediate veterinary care with X-rays and now has a splint wrapped to support the break and allow the open wound to heal.

Unfortunately despite excellent care from our vets, the bone became infected and we had to make the difficult to decision to either have him put to sleep or amputate. Alpacas survive very well with 3 legs and Frodo was a really strong healthy boy and your generous donations had covered his vets bills up to this point so we decided to take him to the Royal Veterinary College for the surgery.
