Three of us have have accepted the challenge to run 100 miles during the month of May.The new church hall is being built at this very moment, but it would be good to have extra money for things like - a good sound system, new chairs, and an upgrade to the roof insulation to keep us warm.

We all run, but none of us are serious distance runners, so the 100 miles will be a challenge. Susan is the vicar, with three parishes to look after, so fitting in the runs will be difficult. Helen is a busy theatre nurse working long shifts, so won't be able to run every day. Val is approaching her 71st birthday, so each one of us has a special reason to feel challenged, but we are looking forward to it.
