Story

Arley Rural Preservation Group are raising funds in order to fight a planned housing development in our village on green belt land next to an Ancient Protected Wood. The wood has been here since the 16th Centrury as is likely to be negatively affected by the developemnt. We are also wanting to protect our small village from excessive housing development, a huge increase in population, cars and demands on infrastructure.

The proposed development of over 220 houses poses a significant threat to our village, its infrastructure, and most importantly, the local wildlife. A projected 30% increase in population will bring numerous challenges that we must address. Our community group, the Arley Rural Preservation Group, is committed to fighting this development and requires funds to effectively spread awareness, obtain professional advice, and stand against large corporations like Summix that have purchased the land solely for profit

We can not do this alone...we need your help now...once the land is gone we can't get it back and once the wildlife is decimated it won't return. It's no use after the build saying oh gosh this is terrible, wish I'd done something.

If everyone donates a small amount even the price of a coffee, £5 this will help us achieve out target.

We urgently need your support. Ecological surveys, road reports and wildlife specialists dont come cheap.

Time is of the essence; the window of opportunity closes 19th March. Please consider contributing whatever you can—every penny counts. Stay tuned for updates on our progress and successes as we work together to safeguard our community.
