Over the past 18months, I have been training with the UK women's visually impaired ladies cricket squad. We are planning for the first international trip to Barbados in July 2018, however the whole team needs to raised an immense amount of money to be able to get there. It is estimated that will be about £20k. Of course as a member of the team I want to contribute to raising this money to be able to go however this is really difficult for me as I am currently unemployed and disabled. Therefore I am taking up a challenge on sunday myself and a colleague, Katinka Ernst will be rowing the Great Ouse marathon. It would be really good of you if you are able to sponsor me in this challenge. The money that I am raising will go towards my eight sessions of training and matches over the coming year before the July trip. It is estimated each full training weekend costs £75 for travel and accommodation. This marathon is on Sunday coming, 3rd of September. It's really exciting and scary at the same time but we are determined to achieve it please help and support me.
