Story

Hi, my name is susie and im 32 yrs old. I met Adam now 46, nearly 10yrs ago this November. I meet him through my sister. we played monopoly around my table, he couldn't keep his eyes off me. A few months later we feel for each other and he asked me to marry him. Fastforward a few more months, one day we was out jogging enjoying the sun and the views as we jogged around the block when he collapsed in pain. The doctors told him it was to do with the car accident he had back in 2002, he was a security guard and was on his way home when he hit black ice, he saw an oncoming vehicle with a woman and child in it, he swerved to avoid them and ended up wrapping his car around a pole. He walked out fine with just abit of whiplash but thought nothing of it. A few months later he collapsed and was told that his whiplash had somehow triggered a muscle spasm in his back and had also affected his nerves. They gave him an injection sometime later to help with his pain. after his second collapse the doctors couldn't give him another injection. Adam went from being his funny strong walking tall self to having to walk with crutches. it's affected his whole life, being a security guard was his life's passion, 10yrs on his mobility has deteriorated. He has a very low immune system/low sperm( we cant have a family) and has lost a lot of muscle in his legs, he can't walk unaided, only a few steps to then collapsing on the floor due to the pain it puts him in. He's got jealous and paranoid and we've argued alot because of it. He's now confined to his bed and hardly gets to go out just for fresh air. It has completely ruined his/our life, he has really bad depression due to the situation and finds it hard to communicate with people. I love this man so much, I just want to try and help him to make his life just that bit easier. Please help us raise some funds, Adams not that kind of person to ask for anything as he's too proud.
Thank you for taking your time to read his/our story.
