Weʼve raised £340 to Raise money for YMCA Wellington and District

    Time left
Funded on Saturday, 24th December 2016

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

    Story

As some people may know, my mum works for YMCA Wellington. They are a charity that house young people aged 16 - 25 when they have no-where else to go, or going through a particularly hard time and need somewhere to stay and someone to support them.
Their main aim is to support young people and help them develop their personal and financial skills to help them in later life. I know that the YMCA staff have turned many lives around and inspired lots of young people to discover and reach their full potential.
This is why I have chosen, along with my mum and my friend Molly, to sleep out overnight in tents and cardboard boxes. We will be staying on Tescos car park as if we were homeless to try and raise as much money as we possibly can for YMCA Wellington; an important charity who are truly inspirational.
