We are raising funds for the Brighton based charity 'The Hummingbird Project. This local charity offers specialist support for an increasing number of young refugees arriving in Brighton and often without a support system. They provide them with a safe space, financial and educational support and emergency accommodation.

We are aiming to complete a sunrise to sunset challenge starting at 6 am and finishing at 6 pm. The day will be made up of 12 hours of continuous multi-sports competitions and end with a cold-water sea swim. We are ever so lucky that we are in a place where we can freely go about our daily lives. On reflection, throughout this day we will be reminding ourselves of how lucky we are to have security and a place to call home.
