Story

Sussex to Ukraine Trauma Aid

The aim of this urgent fundraiser is to provide emergency trauma first aid kits and medical supplies for individuals & small units defending their homeland in Ukraine, along with civilians caught up in the conflict.

Rapid lifesaving treatment is vital for those suffering battlefield wounds such as those from shrapnel and gunshots, many affecting the chest cavity or causing haemorrhage – immediate use items such as tourniquets and chest seal dressings, along with pocket face masks, artificial airways & AED’s will all help save lives.

Many of both those ‘civilian army’ personnel on the ground, alongside non-combatants, will not have access to these kits when they desperately need them. Each ready to go trauma pack costs over £170 - it is hoped to raise enough for over 40 of these, supplemented with other lifesaving equipment, and we aim to deliver as many of these items to those who need them in the Ukraine theatre, as soon as possible.

This limited duration appeal will enable us to get aid to where it is needed urgently.

One extra life saved has to be the right thing to do…..
