Story

As a resident of Sutton in Ashfield most of our lives, we were horrified to hear our remembrance service was under threat, so this is our bit to help fund the ''continuation'' of the Sutton in Ashfield remembrance service so as a town we can show our respect to the fallen who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

From 2017 onwards the Sutton in Ashfeild Remembrance Service are at risk of being resigned to the history books. This is due to a change within the Police regarding the resourcing of road closures, together with the funding cuts. We want to help be easing some of the presure of finding funds to continue this much needed event for the near future.

Myself, Naiomi Mathis, and good freind Heather Webster, will be starting the ball by donating £100 from funds raised voluntary by our community group AAA.

All money donated via this page will go to the account to fund the ''continuation'' of this part of our local heritage.

If you believe that the Sutton in Ashfield parade should be kept, to keep alive the memory of our fallen, and to thank the ones still alive, and that this should be passed down for generations of the future, so they never forget the sacrifices that has been made for the freedom they enjoy.

If you believe that the future generations should have the chance to keep alive the memory of our fallen then help us get this cause running by donating.

Thank you all in advance for your support and donations.
