Hi All,

I'm doing the Leicester half Marathon on the 15th October 2017 and I need your help! I'm trying to raise money for the Labour Suite Shared Governance Team at the Nottingham City Hospital (where I work as a midwife).

The shared Governance model of leadership encourages personal and professional development whilst focussing on improving patient safety, patient experience and staff experience.

At NUH we define Shared Governance as:

Where staff have collective ownership to develop and improve practice; ensuring patients receive caring, safe and confident care. It places staff at the centre of the decision making process and sees managers having a facilitative leadership role. I'm a massive believer in the above and promise to show you all what we achieve with any funds!
