Story

Im trying to raise as much money as I can, to help a local kettlethorpe/wakefield family out at this very sad time!! The last thing they need to be worrying about on top of everything else is money so every little helps and would be greatly appreciated 💜💙💜💙
Here's the story
Billy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Luekaemia two weeks before his 4th birthday. He had chemo and went into remision but 5mths later relapsed and had to have more chemo, full body radiotherapy and a bone marrow transplant donated by his sister who was 3 years old at the time. He had the transplant on his 5th birthday. Billy has been clear for 6 years but started with pain in his knee in January and gradually the pain got worse and his knee became swollen. After numerous trips to the doctors and A&E Billy was referred to a rheumotoligist who sent him for a MRI scan. From the MRI scan something showed up and he had a knee biopsy that unfortunately revealed the Acute Myeloid Leukaemia is back. Billy is now 11years old and currently in Leeds General Infirmary having chemo and hopefully have another bone marrow transplant.. Xx
So as well as him been stuck in hospital and it been Christmas which is absolutely awful he will also be undergoing chemo, this effects every aspect of all the familys everyday life,work/family/friends/money/stress/worry/upset the list is endless.. so if I can in anyway raise as much money as possible it would mean the world.. thank you everyone xxxxx
