I'm raising £500 to support Bryan Taphouse - a much loved Romsey resident, retired priest and dedicated Rotarian.

Story

Tanis and I will be walking 65 plus miles over 5 days to raise money for Bryan Taphouse. We are taking on the stunning South Downs Way from Romsey to Amberley. We are aiming to walk 13-15 miles per day, while staying along the route and carrying only the bare essentials on our backs.

Bryan has had a 9 year fight with cancer, when he was given only 3 years.

He is a pillar of our town community and has done so much for other people through who he is as a caring person, Rotary Club, and a priest at our local Abbey.

He has and is touching so many people's lives and is larger than life himself.

He has now been given a new final option treatment that is currently unfunded and he will have to find the potential £100,000 cost!

This treatment may work miracles and give him at least another 2 years, which would be vital for him to be able to support his wife who has dementia.

So any money that can be raised will go toward enabling him to have the full treatment program and maybe he will keep defying the odds and survive far longer.
