As we all know, people over the age of 70 have been asked to stay at home to minimise the risks associated with coronavirus.
The impact that this will have on health and wellbeing should not be underestimated!
We are supporting them with regular phone calls by trained volunteers, to provide emotional support, supplemented, where appropriate, by activity packs incorporating inspirational poems, quizzes, word games and personal messages.

We are also offering help with shopping and other tasks.

This all costs money and we are not currently raising funds through our charity shops.

We do not receive any regular funding from local or national statutory bodies, so desperately need your help at this time more than ever!! Compassion for our community should not become a casualty in all of this.
