We are overwhelmed that spingdrive's Brasside has donated a weeks free Labour and along with Buildbase Meadowfield and Dove's Builders East Boldon materials to transform into a nice accessible space for Deacon to enjoy.
Deacon was born weighing 2lb 10oz and was not expected to live past the age of 2, he is now 20!
He has microcephaly, profound and multiple learning difficulties, epilepsy and he is visually impaired.
We can not put into word's how grateful we are!
After being put on hold as Deacon was fighting for his life in intensive care against pneumonia, pancreatitis, total kidney failure, inflamed liver, blood sugar level of 58 and sepsis to name a few!
He was not expected to make it out of resus and we were told to prepare ourselves for the worst, his body was shutting down.
But after drilling into his bone marrow to pump fluid and gain I.V access he made it to I.T.U on a ventilator but still not expected to survive.
But our warrior against all odds did and he is now home! Although he still has a long road ahead until full recovery.
This has made the generous gift from spingdrive's , Dove's Builders and Buildbase even more appreciated!
Time is precious and life is fickle, I can not put into word's how grateful we are for somewhere to spend time as a family and make memories.
