Story

We have been trying to create a family of our own. We have such a wonderful relationship and we would be great parents, giving a child a home full of love and laughter. This journey is proving to be a rollercoaster of emotions.

John and myself didn't meet each other until we were in our late thirties and by the time we were ready to make a family, my biological clock had started to wind down. Therefore we need the support of IVF to help us on our journey. Unfortunately this is a very expensive road to travel along, which is why we need to reach out for some extra support.

So far we have had one try through the NHS which was unsuccessful, due to my own eggs being too old. We were then recommended to go abroad for an egg donor as they are much younger and it is more likely to work. However we have had 2 attempts so far with an egg donor, the first with fresh embryos and the second with frozen. Heartbreakingly both of those tries have also been unsuccessful. We do still have three frozen embryos left.

We have taken advice from a very successful embryologist of 24years, who received an MBE in 2015 for her work in fertility. she believes we still have hope and she has recommended me having some more tests done, using the embryos in Spain and if unsuccessful she has recommended another clinic in Cyprus that has very good success rates.

This is where we need your help. Our funds have pretty much run dry and we don't want to give up on our dream.

Please help us if you can. Much love Su and John XXX

For those of you that are apart of my schools community unfortunately we are unable to accept anymore of your donations due to professional reasons. We have been extremely touched by your love and support though.....Thank you XXXX

If we do have any money left over we will donate it to IVF research or a children's charity.
