I've raised £300 to support the Sa1ute Charity which helps veterans and serving members of the armed forces deal with combat related health issues

Sa1ute is a non-profit charity that has been set up to help promote good mental health of veterans and serving members of the armed forces, who are suffering from combat related health issues.
Sa1ute is based in Swansea, South Wales, with a parcel of land near Pen-Y-Fan, which will be transformed into a retreat, that veterans and serving members of the armed forces can use for free.
Sadly Covid set back Sa1ute's plans for the retreat but with the pandemic abating the charity is looking to get the safe haven for our veterans fully up and running - however there is a very long wish list of equipment needed to make that happen.
A Touch Far Vetched - the fundraising fanzine devoted to Swansea City Football Club - wishes to assist where it can and so we have launched our Swans Strikes 4 Sa1ute scheme. For every goal the Swans score during the 2022/23 season our Editor Nigel Davies will donate £1. The donation raises to £5 for each goal star striker Joel Piroe scores.
We'll look to support Sa1ute in other ways throughout the season in an effort to provide as much money as possible to aid our brave service men and women.
