We are excited to share details of this year’s SwimSchool Sponsored Swim, which will take place during the week commencing 1st June 2026, with all swimmers taking part during their normal lesson times. In all classes, the children will be encouraged to swim as many lengths as possible during their 30-minute session, with a mix of aided swimming, activities and fun. All raised funds going towards our two chosen charities this year!

Following your fantastic suggestions, we are proud to be supporting two incredible charities this year:

Bolton Smiley Faces – a local charity that provides invaluable support to families of children with additional needs and Down Syndrome. Many of our swimmers are part of this community, and we are so proud of the determination they show each week in overcoming barriers and exceeding expectations.

Cancer Research UK – a charity dedicated to funding life-saving research and supporting those affected by cancer. With 1 in 2 people impacted by cancer, their work continues to make a difference to so many families.

We will also be hosting a raffle, in which tickets will be available to purchase during your child's swimming lessons during the weeks and including the week of the sponsored swim. By purchasing a strip of raffle tickets for just £2.00, you will be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes. The raffle prize list is attached and includes a pleasure flight in a 2-seater aircraft, Bolton Wanderers tickets, a family pass to Smithills Open Farm, and many more exciting prizes. We will also be sharing updates on our social media pages of the event.

We truly appreciate your continued support. Together, we hope to make a meaningful difference to both our local community and beyond. Just another important date coming up will be Badge week- this will commence from the week beginning 22nd June 2026.
