    Story

In the summer 2021 I will attempt to swim from the island of Ithaka to the island of Cephalonia in Greece, a distance of 5-6km, my longest distance yet. I will do this to raise awareness for people born with disabilities and raise funds for YPERION (enosi-amea-yperion.gr), an institution in Cephalonia doing excellent work supporting young people with special needs.

Mahatma Ghandi once said, the true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members. Your support is greatly needed by YPERION and will encourage this institution continue its exemplary work of supporting young people in needs, against all odds. It will also be a massive vote of confidence in me and my ability to swim the crossing from Ithaka to Cephalonia, a years long dream of mine.
