Story

We belong to Yateley Swimming Club for Disabled. We have people come along that have visual and non-visible disabilities.
We are having to replace the hoist next September and need to raise between £5000 - £6000.
The Swimming Club is a lifeline for many, as many pools don't have a hoist, so they are restricted to where they can go.
Our Club cater for young and old alike.
I myself suffer with osteoarthritis and I have had a knee replacement and waiting for the other to be done. I am struggling with an inflamed hip, so getting in and out of the pool is a struggle. The hoist will be a god send so I can continue Swimming. There are others, amputees, members that can't manage the steps, so using the hoist is enabling them to do what they enjoy.
A few of our members are taking part in a sponsored swim on the 14th April 2023 and will be passing this on to ask for your help.
Even if you can only donate £1, it will be helpful.
We all thank you in advance.
