Swiss Mission 2018

Dear friends,

Recently we made a decision to go on a short-term mission trip with St. Ebbe's Church, Oxford, to Switzerland between the 3rd and 17th of September 2018. We are excited about the opportunity God is giving us to share the Gospel of Jesus in Switzerland and we're writing to tell you more about it and how you can be involved.

OK, here are some details for you. We will begin our two weeks by attending the GBEU (Les Groupes Bibliques des Écoles et Universités) Student Forum held at lake Geneva between the 7th and 12th of September. At this conference we will help to lead Bible studies, worship sessions and group discussions. The purpose of this event is to bring French-speaking Swiss Christian students together and encourage them to share their faith at university. Subsequently, we shall go to Geneva and Lausanne universities between the 13th and 14th of September to help the students with their ‘welcome days’ during Freshers Week. We will be particularly working with English-speaking and international students during these events.

Prayer is really the key to successful ministry and this is no exception. The team needs prayer to be united and to always be focusing on God no matter what happens. I will also need financial support. The trip will cost about £755 (per person) and we are trusting God to supply for His work.
