Following a previous successful appeal, 62364 has now been fully re-glazed using recycled parts from long since scrapped trains. However we have discovered that there is a number of missing components from its bogies that were removed by its previous owner which are vital to its future operation.

We have identified these components, obtained the original BR drawings and obtained quotations from various suppliers.

The issue we face now is the potential total cost of £6,100, therefore we have decided to appeal for just under half as we realise that the full amount is somewhat optimistic.

So we appeal to everyone, even those who just have a passing interest or those who cannot become involved but want to do something to help - we need your pennies! The progress so far shows what a difference your support can make in keeping these classic carriages on the rails for years to come.
