IT'S NOW ABOUT CLUB SURVIVAL
Founded in 1872, Saffron Walden Town FC is the oldest football club in Essex and one of the oldest in the world.
For generations the towns folk of Saffron Walden have supported 'The Bloods' at their home at Catons Lane.
With the impact of COVID-19 damaging the global economy it is a challenge for any business to manage their fixed costs. SWTFC is no different.
We run a pretty tight ship anyway, however with no income due to arrive for the forseable future, we do have some fixed costs which need to be covered and therefore we would greatly appreciate the support of our loyal fans.
As custodians of this fabulous community club, the board are determined to safeguard the future of the club. Steering the club through the coming months could be a defining season for the club.
The survival of the club is our primary concern. The board, players and volunteers welcome any donations which help cover fixed costs. ( Insurance, alarm monitoring, electricity and gas etc)
OUR PROMISE.
Every single penny is used for the club, no one is paid for their services. Any funds left over will be returned to the fans via a special Thank You Event.
