Sylvester is a colleague at work who was diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2018. Sylvester is such a authentic and genuine guy everyone gets on with him at work he is a gentle giant. He was diagnosed with such an agressive type of cancer that we did not think he would be here today BUT he is. Sylvester is a fighter, he has not been able to leave hospital since January and he has recently had to have his both legs amputated below the knee and one of his hands due to cancer. Sylvester says he s just happy to be alive. He is now having physio and still continuing chemo. Sylvester is hopeful he will soon be moving to rehabilation unit. This is life changing for Sylvester as you can imagaine who is 52 years old with a family, who is a keen walker and guitar player. He will require major adaptions to his home and we want to be able to support him so he is able to be independant in his own home
