I had my holiday all booked to the United States with travel insurance and my E.S.T.A visa for 90days.
I wanted to visit America for the 1st time and truly experience backpacking with my friends who arrived a week before me.

When i arrived in America i was not expecting to get stopped and interrogated for over 8hours after a 7hour flight! I was told by boarder control that i wasn't allowed into the country as they think I want to be an American citizen! I asked on what grounds are you keeping me or such crazy accusations... im a British citizen and I have no intention of staying in the USA. I've never been and it's something of an irrational thought all together.
They told me I'm not being arrested but detained i said well ofcourse im not being arrested i haven't commited a crime.
They said i will be travelling on the next plane back to London the following evening.
I asked if i could go to the hotel i had booked, they said i can't leave the waiting room.
So they took my phone, i couldn't call a lawyer or anyone to help me, I was kept in a room with high A/C no where to sleep and no food for over 20hours ! I felt like this was all a joke and that the camera and crew were going to turn up and laugh... it was a nightmare! when i got back i called lawyers in the UK but was advised to get an American lawyer that knows immigration law.

Now im looking to raise enough money to hire a lawyer to sort this out.
