Jane is my mum who for as long as I can remember has helped everyone she meets, she ran youth club, summer place schemes, fed the whole estate, raised money to help disadvantage familes who never had a holiday get their first family holidays. Once raised the money she take 52 families on holiday to Butlins these familes had never had a holiday before. She applied for grants to get kids christmas present that families couldnt afford christmas , she would make clothes for the commiunty and I remember her making party clothes so these children had something nice to wear to they school discos.

Lots of people will remember her Monday club at the local church in the early 90’s and the summer playscheme.

She did all this while being a single parent for four children and still working and going to uni whilst suffering from M.E. and Arthritis.

our house was always open and she would always have a pot of homemade soup on the stove to feed anyone that came through the door.

In the late 90’s she would take all the local teenagers on holiday every year and made sure we all had a fab time.

In early 2000 her health took a turn for the worse but she struggled through still going to college to become a consellor and volutreeing on help lines.

My mum would do anything she possibly could of anyone and never thinks of herself or her health.

She has strugggled with health problems her whole life , she has two kinds of arthritis in most of her body, Fibromyalgia and ME to name a few of her health problems. But through all these health problems she didnt give up helping others.

For the past few years her feet and legs have began to swell up like balloons anytime she goes anywhere, this was put down to her health diffculties for years, until this weekend when she was admitted to hospital.

She was so swollen she look like she was going to pop, and had a serious infection in her legs and also her chest, in which she also had fuild on her lungs. She has been told she has now got HEART FAILURE!

This can be control once the scans are all done and test are complete but she has been advise not to be mobile as she risks her feet swelling each time.

Mum has a wheel chair but due do they condition of her hand from the arthiritis she is unable to push herself

Its important to her to stay indepenant and this is where we need your help, I would love to be able to get her a mobility scooter and giver her indepenance to be able to go out and about without having to rely on anyone.

Please if you can doante no matter how small and give my amazing mum something back from all the commuity and charity work she has done most of her life
