I've raised £200 to Help us to fund equipment & supplies. We are making personal protective equipment for local NHS & care workers by 3D printing & lasercutting

We are the Howling family who own and run the Sysonby Knoll Hotel in Melton Mowbray. We are Jenny, Gavin and our children James & Zoe. With a keen flair for electronics and engineering, James and Gavin have been making personal protective equipment (PPE) for local NHS and care workers and have so far made over 1000 pieces. They are using laser cutting machines as well as 3D printers (6 of them!) but need your help to raise funds to buy more supplies! We are spending approx 50p to make each face shield.
Our sincere thanks goes out to Ratcliffe College for the loan of additional 3D printers, the local Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray, the PA at Ratcliffe College and those of you who have already sent vital supplies but we really do need more. Any amount will be so very gratefully appreciated and you can keep up with our daily makings on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Our PPE has already been sent to local residential and care homes within and around Melton, various local pharmacies, some local nurses known to us, Rutland County Council as well as the Glenfield Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre. We very much hope to continue providing PPE for as long as we can in our small effort to help in this Covid19 crisis. Thank you so much for reading our story.
