A week ago today we all awoke to the unfolding tragedy of the Grenfell Tower fire.

Over the last 7 days the unimaginable scale of this awful event has become all too clear not only in terms of the loss of life but also the immense challenge faced by survivors.

Those affected are amongst the most vulnerable in our society. Many have lost everything and will need to rebuild their lives from scratch but it can be difficult to know how best to make a difference.

The British Red Cross have set up the London Fire Relief Fund to help those who have been left bereaved, injured or homeless and this seems to me to be an excellent way to support all the victims of this terrible tragedy.

In order to participate, we have provided Sytner employees the opportunity to donate.
