I've raised £10000 to support and empower young conservationists around the world.

We are now at a turning point in human history where our planet desperately needs our help. The twin perils of climate change and environmental destruction are increasing globally and are making our planet less safe, more dangerous and toxic. Our oceans are getting more acidic, our rainforests are disappearing at an alarming rate and many iconic species are under threat from extinction.
It is clear that we must take direct action today in order to save our natural world for tomorrow, but in order to achieve change, we must better support and equip our young conservationists, with the skills and knowledge necessary, so they can become the future guardians of our planet.
Our aim is to support and empower the next generation of conservation leaders around the world.
For many young people, finding a job in conservation is incredibly challenging. The sector is increasingly saturated and competitive, volunteer experiences are very expensive and many individuals are often lacking the practical skills which NGO’s desperately require. Many passionate individuals soon become disheartened by the lack of opportunity and may sadly never work in conservation. It is evident that we must take a new approach and empower our young conservationists to take action.
In order to achieve this, we are looking to launch a series of incubator programmes aimed at providing practical and field research experiences to young conservationists.
The programmes will be centered on our four focus areas (oceans, forests, climate and wildlife trafficking) and will last for around four weeks. They will encompass practical workshops, a internship abroad, mentoring, professional presentations (from experts) and networking opportunities. We will also work closely with the applicants in helping them to develop their C.V’s and provide career advice in relation to the conservation NGO market.
Your donations will also go to support marine conservation projects in Italy, the UK and the Maldives.
