Story

In January 2018 we are moving to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to serve alongside two Missionaries, David and Esther Allen who have been serving in Cambodia since 2011.

During our year in Cambodia we will be serving in the Early Learning Centre which looks after children aged 0-5 giving them a safe place to learn and play and enabling their parents to go to work. We will also be supporting the work of 'Be Free' which is a training and recovery programme for women who have been rescued from a life of abuse or exploitation. The vision of Be Free Cambodia is "to see lives restored, hearts mended and women with lives filled with God's joy and peace!" We will also be getting invovled in church planting and sports ministry!

We are so excited about this opportunity, to be able to serve people and children who have had very difficult lives, to see lives transformed and to experience living in a different culture.

So in January we are taking a career break and in order to be able to live in Cambodia for the year we need to raise some money... as well as saving hard!! On October 1st we are running the Cardiff half marathon in the hope to raise some money to help fund this year. Any donations are welcomed and we really appreciate any support! If you would like to support us further, we are also looking for people to commit to sponsoring us each month during our year away - please contact us if this is something you would like to do.

We also hope to put on some other fundraising events so stay tuned!

We are saving hard and trusting God to provide for us during this year! Thanks for reading :)
