Story
Tabitha Jane Gardner was born on 9th January 2019, 11 days after her due date. From the moment she arrived she needed assistance with her breathing and after care at The Princess Royal hospital, Haywards Heath, was transferred to the Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton.
The Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) in Brighton is a specialist unit for the care of sick newborn babies. It provides special care, high dependency care and intensive care. It also provides a service for babies requiring surgery.
The care she received here was second to none and we were amazed by the elite skill we witnessed. Unfortunately, after a strong fight, she passed away 24 hours after she was born.
We want to donate to the amazing team in her name and initially aimed to raise £100 for every hour she was with us and now due to everyone's huge generosity we are now aiming for £6,000. Thank you all.

We've increased our target due to everyone's amazing generosity and smashing all of our targets so far. We know we can get to this target before we hand over funds to the unit in January. Thank you for your continued support. Christine x
