Story

On 2 June 2018 I will start the Trans Am Bike Race, riding my bicycle for 4,184 miles across America. This is an unsupported race so I will have to plan my own food stops, sleep where I can and spend as much time on the bike as possible - averaging around 200 miles a day, everyday, for 3 weeks.

Walo - a cousin of mine - past away from cancer having suffered from Crohn's disease for many years. His was a young life cut tragically short and has proven to be the catalyst to give me the courage to attempt these rides and create amazing life experiences.

I am in the privileged position where I have my health, the support of my family and friends and have the opportunity to do this so the second organisation is a local charity providing palliative care - looking after those for whom life has chosen a different path.

I would be very grateful if my bike ride inspires you to support these 2 causes. All monies raised will be split evenly between Crohn's & Colitis UK (https://www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk) and Isabel Hospice (https://www.isabelhospice.org.uk)

Thank you
