Hi,

I know this is a MASSIVE ask but here goes. My son attends The Academy Grimsby, through all of Secondary school and Covid prom is what him and his mates have looked forward to. Here's the problem there are 8 students on the student council that decided not to hold a prom so the school now wont. The girls have had their dresses picked out for ages and now are watching their friends get excited.

I would like to hold a prom for all the Year 11 students from TAG on the 24th June, but I am sure you can imagine I cannot do this alone. So far with the fantastic help of the people of Grimsby and surrounding area, we have a venue, photographer, help with decorations, a buffet, a cake, and an army of parents on hand.

So, this is the final push so we can put some money behind the bar for drinks, get a disco, and set up a continuous fund for future TAG students prom's. Whether that's for organising and putting a prom on, or/and a fund to help less fortunate students with the cost of attending.

This has been a rough few years for everyone, I just want to see these young adults smile and have a night to remember.
