Story
Elephants are in danger due to falling numbers and miss treatment. As a family (chikdren 13,9,6yrs) we flew to Tailand to volunteer our help to the TaiTai camp in Pattaya. Set up by Mrs Noi a 72 year old thai lady who has devoted her life and house to the cause and spends several days per week travelling around hotels who have agreed to allow her charity boxes there. She empties small amounts of change to keep the reserve going.
What the elephants need is a bath, a large hole to be properly created for them to bathe three times per day instead of using a constant supply of fresh water from the hose. This would create a more efficient camp, happier elephants and make us all feel pretty good that we made a difference.
For a relativey small sum we can get this built. Its just £1000 to complete.
Please help, even the cost of a posh coffee would make all the difference.
