Story

Parvo is a life-threatening virus that infects dogs, mainly puppies. It is highly contagious and attacks the dog's intestinal tract and white blood cells and can even damage the heart. A series of three to four vaccinations, followed by annual boosters, are necessary to ensure a puppy is protected.

I bought Buddy at 6 weeks old I realised this was early to buy a puppy but was told by the owner that he would be fine and that he did not need to be with his mother any longer.

This little pup came to me full of enjoy and I fell in love straight away as I am a big dog lover, ive had him for about 4 months now and his literally my best friend. He then became very ill and struggles to walk with his back legs becoming completely immobilised. He still tries to be the same happy dog but I can see him slowly leaving me.I took him to the nearest veterinary clinic that I trust, an 2 hour drive. I was told that he had Parvo and that he needed an Mri scan which costs anyway from $2,500 and upwards and that he would need doses which cost anywhere from $500 to $2500 but would need more than one dose to have any chance of surving. I was also told that his suffering from partial paralysis also and he would need to have tick treatment which could cost anywhere from $500-$10000.

His chances are relatively slim, but I would like to do anything to save my best friend. If he makes it, and we are hoping and trusting he will, he will need a lot of post-op care.

I am hoping with help that he will be going into surgery as soon as possible. If you can spare $5 or more, every dollar will help. If you are giving to other causes or just don't have the money, could you please send some positive energy and prayers to Buddy.
