Story

Chance has been raced his whole life, he's now just about to turn 9 and was raced last season resulting in an intermittent lameness re-presenting itself. He's not been sound since. As racers go they can become very dispensable.

Hammered from the age of a yearling they generally don't have a great life quality. So it always catches my attention when you see the softest and kindest of horse trying their upmost to be what they are required, no matter the injury, or pain/discomfort they are in.

Chance's claim to fame is that he was ridden by AP Macoy. He's had a relatively sucessful race career and has been raced to the grand age of 8! Despite the chip on his knee!

What also marks him as incredible is his attitude life. Despite the fact he's lame, he's happy,he's gentle and he's kind.

I would like to get him pain free and to do this i am fundraising towards the veterinary care that he needs. Last resort is to have the chip removed from his knee which is the ultimate goal if he needs it.

Take a chance on Chance.

I'm selling items/ running raffles / holding charity events to help towards funding this, I'm doing tack sales and fundraising days, sponsored rides, arena hire and much more in aid of his cause. Donations in anyway whether that be old tack and horse gear that you no longer require, or a donation of any size in to the just giving page will be so greatly received.

Wish us luck on our journey and fingers and toes crossed for Chances recovery <3
