Tako is an 11 year old boy, friendly, happy, fun loving and very popular with all his friends and their parents. He loves sport of all kinds but is particulary good at football. He plays for a club in Eastern Green, Coventry called Firefighters and is definitely one of their key players.

Unfortunately during July he was admitted to Walsgrave Hospital feeling very poorly. Doctors told his parents his bone marrow was failing and a transplant may be required. All members of his family were tested but as yet a match has not been found. He was transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital where doctors and nurses have been striving to lower his temperature below 40 degrees to allow him to start receiving alternative treatment to try and cure the problem.

I am organising an event on Friday 01.12.17 at Massey Ferguson Social Club (this event is now sold out ) to try and raise as much money as possible to buy Tako something to pass away the long hours whilst he lays in his hospital bed and to support his family whilst they have to take time off work and help with the ongoing travel and parking costs.

We appreciate that not everyone will be able to make the event or that tickets will sell out however please feel free to make a donation so we can try and achieve our goal. All proceeds are greatly appreciated.
