Earlier this month, we went to visit the Tala Cat Sanctuary near Paphos in Cyprus. As you may know, Cyprus has many many stray cats, some of them living in terrible conditions, injured and hungry.

The sanctuary looks after any cats brought in, gives them vet treatment if needed, offers a safe place to live on their amazing cat park, neuters them to prevent cat numbers growing even further, and then tries to find them forever homes. In the last 8 years, 900 cats have found new homes via Tala, and there are 800 still living there. Its an amazing place, and any catlovers visiting Cyprus should pay a visit!

On April 5th, I am going to be running the Manchester Marathon, and am hoping to raise some funds for the sanctuary. 100% of funds is used on items to benefit the cats including vets bills, sleep pods and lots and lots of food!
