Story
With all the uncertainty around us, and the global pandemic of COVID-19, a tragic fire which took place on Albert Drive/Kenmure Street on the 1st of April has left my close family friend Talha and his family without a home.
Talha and his family who are well known within the local community and area, have been left devastated and are coming to terms with all that’s happened. They have lost everything they had in the house, and the pain and uncertainty is unbearable for the family. It’ll be months before works take place at the site. Unfortunately this couldn’t have happened at a worse time for the family.
I’m doing this because I believe that no matter how hard times get, given the present circumstances; we are all in this together. I hope we as a community will come together to support Talha and his family through this tough time.
