Talking Hands Cafe

Talking Hands Cafe is run by a deaf couple, John and Caroline Palmer. It's a cafe with a twist! As well as a cafe of home cooked food and home made cakes we also offer signing classes both to hearing and deaf people and children. It's a cute community cafe in a great community!

We are overwhelmed with the support from our customers and the local community but due to unforseen circumstances, we are in need of extra funds to help replace the boiler to provide heating and hot water, to have blinds made for the big windows to help prevent the sun coming through which makes the cafe a bit too warm, affecting our customers and the home made cakes! And if possible to change the small kitchen area in the basement to a toilet to prevent a queue upstairs and it would be convenient for the customers already downstairs.
