Story
Help support mental health care in Deal and Sandwich.
We are raising £3,500 to help support ‘Talk It Out’, a voluntary social support group for people who suffer from mental health issues and their carers. They run several Talk It Out groups and a 12 week anxiety management course to help those in need, as well as running a wellbeing centre and voluntary counselling sessions often dealing with vulnerable and suicidal clients.
Myself and 14 others have organised a car rally for Mini Coopers, leaving the UK on an ‘Italian Job’ journey to Turin. Most of the vehicles have travelled more than 100,000 miles already, are around 14 years old and cost around £1,500.
All of the trip costs are self-funded by the drivers; this page is solely generating sponsorship for ‘Talk It Out’. Our progress will be displayed for all to see on Facebook, under the page The Mini Red Arrows.
