Story

"Talk Your Walk" Charity & My 48-Hour Sled Beach Drag Challenge for Mental Health Awareness!

Hello, friends, family, and supporters

I invite you to join me on a remarkable journey that's not just about physical endurance but also about breaking the silence surrounding mental health issues. On November 3rd 10 am I will be taking on the "48-Hour 100kg Sled Beach Drag Challenge" along the breathtaking Fylde Coast to raise funds and awareness for the "Talk Your Walk" charity. This charity holds a special place in my heart, as it was founded by rugby players who understand the importance of teamwork and community support when dealing with mental health challenges.

Why "Talk Your Walk"?

As an ex-rugby player who has faced my own battles with mental health – including depression, anxiety, addiction, and alcoholism – I know firsthand the darkness that can engulf one's life. But I also know that talking and having a supportive community can be the lifeline we all need during those tough times. "Talk Your Walk" is dedicated to supporting individuals and their families as they navigate the often challenging journey of mental health recovery.

Your Support Matters:

By donating to this JustGiving campaign, you're not only supporting my 48-hour sled drag challenge but, more importantly, you're contributing to a cause that can change lives. The funds raised will go directly to "Talk Your Walk" to provide much-needed resources and assistance to those who need it most.

How Can You Help?

Donate: Every amount counts. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference in someone's life. Your generosity can help provide counseling, support groups, and outreach programs to those who desperately need them.

Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. Help us reach a broader audience, raising more awareness and support for mental health.

Talk & Listen: One of the most powerful ways you can help is by starting conversations about mental health. Reach out to friends and loved ones, offering your support and lending a compassionate ear. Together, we can create a more understanding and empathetic world.

Join Me in This Challenge:

I invite you not only to donate but to be part of this journey with me. Your support, whether through contributions or encouraging words, is invaluable. Let's break the stigma around mental health together and ensure that nobody has to go through their struggles alone.

Thank you for being a part of this important mission. Your kindness and generosity will shine a light on the path to recovery for many individuals and families. Let's make a positive impact on mental health awareness and support those who need it most.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Thomas Armstrong
