I would really love to be able to take my kids away this year. They're 6 & 11 and both work really hard at school & are pretty good kids! I'm not saying they don't drive me mad sometimes, but on the whole they make me very proud! They're kind, funny & polite... & as their mum I want to do whatever I can to provide for them. Hence this idea! I know there are a lot more deserving causes out there so there's no reason anyone would actually donate towards this, but I figured it was worth a try as I know how happy it would make them. My income just won't stretch far enough after paying the bills & general outgoings & childcare costs to pay for a holiday. Each year it's the same story, so this year I'm thinking outside the box! I'm working as hard as I can to get back on my feet after a tough few years. If I take a second job I will never get to see them & chilcare costs would swallow up the excess income, so for now this is my only option! Thanks for taking the time to read. x
